This week is about community – and you’re part of it
Mental Health Awareness Week is a chance for all of us to pause, reflect and check in – with ourselves and each other. And this year’s theme, community, reminds us how much better we feel when we’re connected, supported and understood.
Being part of a strong, positive community can do wonders for our wellbeing. It gives us a sense of belonging and safety, lifts us up in hard times, and reminds us we’re not alone. That’s something we all need – especially when life feels heavy.
At My Money Matters, we believe financial wellbeing is a big part of this picture. Because while money worries might not always be visible, they’re incredibly common – and they can take a real toll on our mental health.
That’s why we’re here to help, with tools and support designed to meet you where you are. No pressure, no judgment – just a reminder that you’re part of a community that cares.

You’re not alone if money’s on your mind
No matter your age or life stage, you’re likely juggling a lot – whether it’s saving for the future, managing rising costs, or just trying to stay on top of it all. And if that feels overwhelming at times, that’s okay. These feelings are valid – and shared by many.
Financial worries remain one of the top sources of stress for adults in the UK. A recent report found that 62% of people are concerned about their finances, and of those, 79% said it negatively affects their mental health(1).
Little actions can make a big difference
Mental Health Awareness Week is a great time to start – or restart – something small.
Something just for you. Here's how we’re here to support you, at your pace:
Free webinars & 1:1 coaching sessions: Whether you prefer a friendly one-to-one chat or want to listen in and learn with others, we’ve got you covered. Join our webinars for expert-led sessions on pensions, AVCs and more – or book a personal coaching session to get clear, jargon-free answers to your own questions. However you like to learn, we’re here to support you.
Learning Library: Explore clear, practical guidance on the topics that matter most to you. It’s built to support your confidence, with personalised content you can dip in and out of any time.
Money Management: Connect to an app that helps you track your spending, find savings, and feel more in control of your day-to-day finances – like a supportive sidekick in your pocket.
Estate Planning: Planning ahead can bring real peace of mind. Our Estate Planning service can connect you to Wills experts to help you take that first step, simply and securely.*
Shared Cost AVCs: Want to make the most of your pension pot? Even small contributions, from as little as £2 per payroll, can add up to meaningful results over time. We're here to guide you through it.
A more connected approach to wellbeing
This week is a reminder of what really matters: feeling supported, included and part of something bigger.
If you’re feeling stuck, anxious or unsure where to start when it comes to your finances – you’re not alone. And you don’t need to have it all figured out.
We’re here to walk alongside you with tools, resources and people who genuinely want to help. Because true wellbeing isn’t just about what’s in your head or your wallet – it’s also about knowing someone’s in your corner.
We’re here for you. Not just this week, but every week.

Mental health and financial stress are deeply connected, and it’s great to see a focus on community support during Mental Health Awareness Week. Taking care of yourself also means feeling confident in your own skin. For men struggling with hair loss, scalp micropigmentation in UK offers a discreet way to boost self-esteem and reduce daily anxieties, helping create a stronger foundation for mental well-being.
